Description

We will start our tour in Niedzica, a place where you can visit a great castle from 15th century. From its highest tower one can see the ruins of another fortress nearby – the Czorsztyn castle. Between those two castles there is a big water tank, that was created after a dam had been built here. From Niedzica we are heading towards Sromowce Niżne, the village where the rafting starts. The rafting trip is organized in traditional wooden canoe and tourists are accompanied by two professionals – highlanders called ‘flisacy’. During the rafting you will be stunned by the beauty of Pieninski National Park and you will have a good time listening to legends and jokes told by the highlanders.

The Dunajec River is a natural border between Poland and Slovakia. Rafting lasts for about 2-3 hours, the exact time being subject to the water level.
